The Country Coach Owners Yahoo Forum home page has been corrected.
Changes include:
1. DISCUSSION OF COUNTRY COACH CLUB POLICIES AND ISSUES MUST BE DIRECTED TO THEIR YAHOO FORUM -- COUNTRYCOACHCLUB.
2. Removal of the Country Coach company website URL (site does not exist any longer)
3. This site is not associated with or sponsored by the former Country Coach Corporation, nor the current Country Coach Club (CCI).

Here here!! We get plenty of verbosity simply discussing the issues we have with our coaches.

Mr. Smith, you statements are not exactly correct. You did receive minutes, there was a quorum of 9 and you all were polled. The rally in Myrtle Beach was a CCI Fall Rally not a Myrtle Beach Rally. I think it is important to report the truth to our members. Maybe you will share with them why we lost so much money in 5 years?

Mr Conway - I am the recent V/P for CCI South Central and I would like to set the record straight reference your response to Mr. Smith. I received only one phone call from Jack during the Myrtle Beach Rally and it was not to vote on a specific issue but rather to ask what I thought about CCI. I was taken back because I thought I was being asked to vote on a specific issue that had been brought up. Since I wasn't being asked to vote, I replied that I thought CCI had to raise it's dues to keep CCI alive. He thanked me and hung up. That was the only phone contact I had at the time the Rally was taking place I have not received any minutes of the Meetings that took place. It is not my intent to defend Mr. Smith but merely to support what he said about not receiving anything from the board (?) meeting.

I thought this was a Country-Coach Owners group - not a CCI members group. I'm sure there are many CCI members who belong to this group but I don't feel they should be airing their internal CCI issues here. Please form a CCI member group where you can all discuss this stuff in private.

I , currently , am not a member of CCI. While I don't need all the correspondence about the in-fighting of another organization, I would be interested in the outcome, since I MAY or MAY NOT want to be a member. While a Monaco owner, I was at a rally and heard about a clash within their organization , a well. It seems that once a person joins these groups, some of them want to go on a power trip and build the organization to their " best interests " and not the interests of all. Quite frankly, that's why I am reticent to join these groups. If it seems that you can sort this in a decent fashion, with clarity for all, I would consider joining . BUT not with all this sort of in- fighting. So, I would be interested in hearing a conclusion , and not all in between. Factual stuff, in a professional ( ?? ) summary , when all is done would be nice.

Ron, its too bad that you will not get to read about the results on this forum I guess with your concerns. The moderator today changed the "rules" after the gate was opened and some of the horses left. He doesn't want the CCI Club and members to air its problems publically on this group that most if not all have always used. There is a forum on the CCI Club but to access it you must first be a member and that means Ron you would have to join CCI first. Now that is not a bad thing but you will not be privileged to learn about comments BEFORE joining. I guess you can only learn about fixing problems with mechanical parts of your coach and where you might like to travel to on this Yahoo board from now on. The moderator seems to forget about last year and all the information that was gleaned by the members of this message board about Jekyll Island and the missing monies from those that had paid for the event. Those messages went on for days and people learned how to get their money back and they learned things about where and how the money was taken and never properly handled. Those were company and CCI related issues. But that apparently will no longer be allowed on this board. We will now have censorship of our commments. Lets see if this message stays up on the board for more than a few hours like my first post today which was in response to Ted Wrights message and then disappeared from the current listing.

Jack,
By "Is there a form for these concerns?", I assume you mean "forum". As moderator of this forum, I am trying to get people to take the discussion about the CCI club to their Yahoo forum at CountryCoachClub. As long as a club forum exists, this will not be the forum for internal club issues.
We have enough other things to discuss without opening this forum to this bickering. This turns participants off to this forum. A lot of accusations fly, including one person, who by personal mail accused me of being in bed with the board members that resigned, and also wanted to know how much Ted paid me to remove his post. Anyone who wants their post remove, can have it remove. However Ted or anyone never request the removal. Furthermore, as I have mentioned several times in the past, once a message is posted to the forum, it WILL automatically be sent to ALL members subscribing to INDIVIDUAL MESSAGE, and even appear in the next DAILY DIGEST (for ALL subscribing to that method of delivery), even if is deleted within seconds of posting to the forum. No censorship there. That is the way Yahoo works. I do try to clean up duplicate messages, and messages not appropriate to this owners forum.
I am not a Good Sam, FMCA or CCI club member. I have no investment in this battle of board members, or past officers.
I do appreciate the messages posted on the forum, and many personally mailed to me, which supported my position of directing the CCI discussion to the CCI CountryCoachClub Yahoo forum. Thank you. As a result, I updated the forum's home page and published some changes.
There is no compelling reason for the CCI discussion to be carried out on two Yahoo forums.

Hello all,
I do not think you need to sign in to read the messages on the club forum, just to post. I had trouble finding the site since you had to go the the CCI website to find it. The above link should take you to the club site.

Herb I agree totally that the bickering should be on the CCI Forum. I think my post made it clear that I was against the bickering of clubs of this sort. My post was to allow , at some point , where all this sorts out ( if it does ). It would be important for me , and I am sure others, help decide if they should join as well. I have no intention of joining a club that has meetings of boards without all board members present and fully notified. A summary at some point would be good for all of us sitting on the fence at this time. Herb , you do a great job, so don't let a few comments deter you in any way. You have many more supporters than detractors.

What Bill n Barb, Poconos of Pa stated is exactly how I feel. Why we would not want to know what is going on with CCI is something that I can not understand. I also agree that most of the CCI members do not receive information from the CCI yahoogroups site. I am one of them.

Herb,
Thank you for all of your efforts for our forum. I am confused, however, as I thought this was our CCI Country Coach Club Yahoo forum. Would you kindly tell me what to type in to get to that? Thank you. For whatever reason, our email server or whatever the entity which gets me my emails was broken from Tuesday afternoon until sometime overnight Thursday or Friday morning. Thus, I didn't know any of this was going on. Thank you for helping me find my way to the CCI Country Coach Club forum.

Marta,
You are correct, posting on the CCI "Club" forum is restricted to forum members but anyone can read the messages posted.
I just logged out of Yahoo and was still able to read and search messages on the CCI Club forum.

Mary,
If you look at the menu on the left side of this (the "owners") forum you will find a "Links" item. Simply click the "Links" item and you will see an extensive list of links that MAY be of interest to members of this "owners" forum - including direct links to both the "CCI Club" Yahoo forum and the "CCI Club" home web page.
Your browser should allow you to search for "CCI" to get directly to these links.

I usually like my delete key rather than adding to the volume but several times recently the messages objecting to a comment have exceeded the original exchanges. Something odd about that.

I am a CCI member. I agree that these CCI discussions do not belong on this site.
I am signed up to the CCI forum and I get their messages just like I get messages from this owners group.
If you are a member and want the CCI info, sign up for the email service!! If there is some value in non-members getting information about CCI so that they can make informed decisions about joining or not, I think the posting of that information should be left to the discretion of the moderator. He can eliminate the useless banter, passing on only the "facts".
I hope that I am not suggesting anything which might be outside of Herb's time capabilities.
I think he is doing a great job with the forum.
