Hi all.I've run into a problem trying to find the "brass" finish plastic bayonet mount trim rings that mount on the 10 watt halogen ceiling lights of my 2000 Magna.
They have a frosted plastic lens, When the lights get to hot the bayonet lugs appear to melt and drop to earth ... Tried several sources so far. lots of different trim rings out there but so far not the right one. Has anyone solved this problem? Thank you in advance

Bob and GailThere are at least 2 different types of fixtures. My 2003 Magna has a style that has a lens that stays on the fixture and the trim is separate. My 1998 Prevost conversion has the lens as part of the trim ring. Either type will melt and fall off if the bulb is greater than a 10 watt. I need some replacements for the Prevost and all I can see is they are made in China. It is possible you have to buy the whole fixture from what I have been able to find out so far. If I learn anything I will post. Good luck and share anything you learn.
Macke 2003 Magna # 6277 and 1998 Prevost # 353
