I have a 1998 CC Magna #5489 and have been having problems with the heater control system. The evaporator unit is made by SCS Frigette (PN 086-10038) and they have gone out of business. I am looking for a source for a vacuum schematic, any other documentation, and the dash control unit. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Bob Barnett

Have not seen a schematic, but a simple system. Have a Vacuum pump in the bay below the driver that runs all the time the switch is on. Vacuum line to small ball reservoir under the dash. From the reservoir it goes into control valve then out to the vacuum motors on the hearter/AC box. Not unusual for the vac hose to come off the vac. reservoir. If you want to outline your problem, maybe can make suggestions. Should be able to have key in run position, operate the control valve and watch the vac. motors work.

Thanks for the reply. I obviously need to do some more research on the problem.
