I have become a Distributor for Lifeline Batteries and wanted folks to know that I can help you with your battery replacement projects.
I just replaced the nasty ole gassing, leaking, corrosion forming 8D's in my Magna. It was a project getting rid of all the rust and corrosion in the compartments and slide out trays, but now I'm maintenance free with new AGM's. No more fuzz and white powder from acid.
You can reach me at my website or through the Link Section: http://www.trans-specialists.net/ (http://www.trans-specialists.net/) Note - This is a one time post and I will not use the forum as free advertising.

Good luck on your new adventure...Tom IMHO the best AGM on the market.
I don't believe anyone here has a problem with your flag raising.

Rod,

There are a number of things that make AGMs great batteries. They will charge about 50% faster than a flooded cell, they do not leak acid and ruin your favorite shirt, the battery compartment stays clean, they have a lower rate of self discharge, they can be mounted inside living compartments, they can be mounted in various positions just to name a few.
The downside is expense and the weight. A flooded cell 8D will weigh about 90 pounds where a AGM 8D will weigh 162.

I have had them since '04 and won't go back to flooded cells.
