I posed a question a week or so ago about ride height. Just to inform the group I took the rig to the Freightliner Oasis service center in Tolleson, AZ (I highly recommend them, but they aren't cheap!) to have other issues addressed. They found the ride height was 1/4" low on the front and 1/2" low in the rear. After reading advice from several forum members I had them adjust the ride height an additional 1/4" and had the shocks adjusted to the next firmest setting, which in my case, is the firmest. I haven't had a chance to road test it as I only drove it back to the storage area. I'll take it out for its monthly run next month to see if I can find some dips in the road to see if that solved the problem.
I had an overheating issue this summer and had that addressed. Turned out to be the fan control module which was replaced. While road testing the rig the tech heard a whistling noise . He found that one of the CAC hoses had come off. Wonder how long that was off and how much that contributed to the overheating problem.
My pocketbook is considerably lighter but I sure hope this is the end of MAJOR work to have done on the "Cash Cow." We had a contest last summer to name the coach and the names went from GOAT, get out another thousand, to CASH COW because we own a CC and it has cost a lot of mooooooola! You just gotta have a sense of humor when doling out the money!
