Hello Forum, I am trying to replace the fuel lines to my generator. On the gen. side it is almost impossible to get to the top of the tank. My question is, can the back panel on the passenger side front compartment be removed, if so, it would be very easy to get to the top of the fuel tank. Investigating, I have not seen any screws or bolts for removal. I Would be great full if one of you experts can help me out.
Dick.

Dick,

The guy who replaced my lines just went in over the LP tank and changed it out , he was not a fat old guy like me!!!!

I cut an access panel on the forward wall of the foward bay. I haven't changed my fuel lines yet, but I don't think I will be able to reach the front tank fittings used for fuel delivery. The fuel return line fittings are at the back of the tank and easy to get to.

Larry - I removed the propane tank and was able to reach all without cutting anything.

I was able to reach my generator fuel lines on top of the fuel tank from the battery compartment. Just removed the top batteries and had free access to the top of the fuel tank.

I Hi Friend, plan on doing this on my 99 Allure soon before I hit the road from Yuma this summer. My Allure the lines are above the propane tank, I can reach in there with a screw driver and box cut the line off the elbow and will have a friend fish the new hoses from the Gen side. If thats the plate you speak of Gen side, Tie the new line to the old one and pull gently you need a friend to help you I know there are some mounting clamps in the way and they can be removed while fishing the line through again on my Allure no plate on Curb side. I know fellow owners have done this Good luck and I plan on posting when I complete mine. Keep us posted. Make sure the new lines are rated for diesel fuel. Ken 99 Allure 30356
