We have a 2006 Inspire and have several windows that have fogging problems. We are in the Phoenix area during the winter and today we had a young man named Joe from Auto Glass come out to fix our windows. We were very happy with his work, his credentials, his manners AND HIS PRICE. He does the window work for La Mesa RV and Camping World. He guarantees his work for 1 year but says he's never had anyone come back with complaints. If you have this problem and are in this area, you might give Joe a call. 602-505-3803. I have no connection to Joe except as that of a happy customer.

I wrote about this last week but never saw it posted so will try again. Perhaps I didn't do it right. We had several foggy windows and I understand this is not a problem unfamiliar to CC owners. We are in the Phoenix/Apache Junction area for the winter and found a wonderful young man who did an excellent job on our windows at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE. His credentials are great and I think it is permissable to recommend him. His name is Joe, with Auto Glass and his phone number is 602-505-3803. I have no connection with Joe other than that of a satisfied customer. Please let me know if endorsements like this are not allowed. Personally, I always appreciate such information.
Enjoying a beautiful winter in Arizona! Sue Shuckhart 51672

Has anyone had foggy windows repaired at RV Glasses Solutions? We are thinking of having it done when we are in the area this winter.

I had my driverside windows redone by RV Glass Solutions while I was at OMC for radiator replacement.

This year when we go up for some minor issues to be checked by OMC I'll have RV Glass fix my entry

door window. While there the first time the person from RV Glass fixed my windshield leak and marker

light issue, too. Very efficiently and at no extra cost.

We had them done on our 2000 Magna a couple of years ago at RV Glass Solutions in Arizona. They are great. No problems.

They replaced our windshield and repaired three side windows with no drama last fall. Would recommend.

Dave Root in Bend is also a good option.

We had 4 fogged windows replaced at the Eugene Oregon location this spring and are happy with the work. Ours were stained so bad the windows could not be repaired so replacement was the only option.

We have three fogged windows....two are very minor but the driver's window is heavily fogged. We will be in DW in December and have an appointment at Suncoast Designers in Hudson, FL to get the driver's window done. Has anyone used them and, if so, were you satisfied with the work? It will be 2014 before I retire and we can get out West.

Gary, you will be very pleased with Sun-Coast Designers in Hudson, Fl. I had 3 done in Jan 2010 and the couple traveling with me had all 12 of his done in his CC Inspire at the same time. Great facility, good campground (free) and friendly staff. Doesn't get any better than that.

We have had all but 2 of our windows done at Suncoast Designers in Hudson. They have water and electric hookups in their parking lot. They start real early in the morning, take out the windows, tape over the openings, clean the windows and replace them. Excellent customer service and very satisfied with their work. We stayed in the RV. Highly recommend them.

Suncoast did three of my windows in 2008 and they are holding up fine, price was right and they go out of their way to make accomodate you.

Hi Dave, We took ours to RV GLASS in Phoenix. Doug did all our work. I had all the windows done @ also had him replace our windshield witch had issues. He did a great job. It's been almost 3 years now & there all good as new. Good Luck

Fountain RV in Lakeland FL does a good job on fogged windows. They did my drivers side window last winter.

David, I am thinking (perhaps incorrectly) that most of these places who do this work use the same or similar methods. Fountain in Lakelake is a bit closer to DW than Suncoast but Suncoast is more 'on the way home' to Virginia. Would there be a reason to use Fountain over Suncoast? Price, quality of work? Does Fountain have overnight sites with electric for customers?

Thanks. Gary

I have been to Suncoast on two different occasions - one window each time and they have done an excellent job. And they have hookups that are easy and comfortable.

Marvin, how many days were you there to get those 5 done? Also, we will arrive in Hudson on late Friday and our appointment is Monday AM. Are there any good RV parks nearby we can use over the weekend?

Thanks. Gary

We had all but two windows repaired 2 years ago at SunCoast. They did a great job. The price for us was 250 per window no matter what size. They did have hookups. This time of the year it would be wise to make a reservation since all the snowbirds will be heading south. We are getting our last 2 windows done on our way to the Keys.

I don't know anything about Suncoast, but have stayed several nights at Fountain RV, which provided electric and water. We first went there for Aqua Hot service. Also had them install a residential fridge (Samsung 197), the drivers side and entry door windows, and some other stuff. I would recommend calling Butch Williams (863)984-9764 for pricing and other info. Good luck.
