Even though I said this topic had been beat to death, those interested may want to check this link:

One reason we may have had disagreement is talking about two phases. Wikipedia clearly states it is wrong to call the two hot legs two phases, instead using the term "half-cycle shift".

This subject has been beat to death. It still boils down to the fact that the coach has two feeds of 50 amps each, whether or not they are in phase or not, it doesn't make any difference to the normal rv owner. All he is concerned about is do I have 120 volts here and 120 volts there.
There comes a time when you must shoot the engineers and begin production!
