We have an 05 Intrigue with the stock mattress. (60 X 77) Has anyone found a replacement (like the select comfort) that will fit.
The measurements are the hangup. (Queen size width is OK) But with the slide in.. the max length is 77 inches.
The standard lengths are 80 Inches and the Camping World Model is only 75 inches long..2 inches shorter than the stock mattress.
As we are both tall, the 75 inch length would have both of us sleeping with our feet hanging off the end.
The curved corners are another thing too.
It appears that the TV cabinet extends into the room at the corners so much that a square mattress would not work.
We have an Ultra in our home, and love the plush top.. The CW is about 2 grades lower and not nearly as comfortable.
Thanks
Russ and Jean

Bought a great air matress from Dale and Candice Hollick to the exact measurements I needed with the also necessary curves at the foot of the bed.

Any idea what the brand was? Did it have the padded top? Thx

We just purchased a 72"x77" latex mattress "cut to fit by manufacturer" for our 2006 Allure 42' Siskiyou. That was an odd size (susposed king size) but the mattress shop we purchased it from was really helpful in getting us the size needed.

Russ ... We also tried replacing the stock mattress in our 1999 Magna with a Select Comfort Queen size. There was no place to leave the pump hooked up so we filled the mattresses and disconnected the pump.
We found that increasing altitude required that we let air out of the mattresses and decreasing altitude left them with too little air. We would have to reconnect the pump each evening when we stopped.
When we got a 2005 Magna with a bedroom slide, we simply put in a normal good quality queen mattress. When the slide is closed, it does "scrunch" up one corner a bit but it has not been a problem. The queen mattress does hang over the foot of the bed frame a bit but it has enough structure that that hasn't been a problem either.

Craig, I realize that your are not in the market for an air bed but the best thing about the air bed that I sell; the pumps are inside the bed, therefore no installation required. You just put the bed on the platform, plug it in, and you are good to go! Sleeping on air is the best, no pins and needles or parts going "to sleep" and no more pressure points on hips, shoulders etc. We do have to let out some air when traveling to higher altitudes but that is no problem. We then just air the bed up before going to bed that night. We have been sleeping on the same air bed since 1997 and have moved it to 4 coaches. It has no lumps, not saggy etc. I bet there is no one who has a 9 years old conventional bed that can say the same. The first thing we move when changing coaches is move our bed. We installed an air mattress. It is 80" before slide retracts. A little less than 80" with slide retracted.
