Hi all! We presently have 11R22.5 load range H tires, and find replacement tires limited. Have any of you used metric radials that have done well on the 2005 inspires. Thanks in advance.

I just put TOYO M154s on my '04 Inspire. Just drove 1,000 miles to Florida and love them They are larger than my previous tires so speedometer reads wrong. Will have it adjusted.[/b]
$2,500 out the door for six tires in Delaware.

Replaced my original Toyo's with M154 Toyos (11R 225 H) two years ago. Started with Toyo's so I'm staying with them.

I plan to replace mine with the following: Michelin XZA3 11R22.5 or Bridgestone R280 11R22.5
These are long haul tires and this is what I believe is best for my use. I drive 100 to 400 miles in a day. I want tires that are going to hold up to sustained 65/75 mph and 130 deg. blacktop temps. Ok, I may drive at 62 mph, but that's not the point.
There are others, such as the Goodyear G662 11R22.5, Goodyear G149 RSA 11R22.5 and the Bridgestone R 250 ED 11R22.5, but these are regional tires.
All of the above are load range H.
There may be others, so far this is what I have found. I have also found that most tire dealers are not as knowledgable as I would like. Example: I have asked for long haul tires and they are trying to sell regional tires.
I'm not a fan of using larger diameter tires that are more than 3% larger. Performance suffers, sure we can adjust for the highway speed, but then RPM drops for the speed adjustment. There is a possibility of lugging the engine. There may be tires that have the same height and have different spacing requirements. Look at the revs. per mile and the dual min. spacing. Good luck. Let us know what you buy.
It's a lot of work, I believe, because dealers are not knowledgable. O! well. that's life.
Safe travels.

Gil, you bring up great points on Long Haul versus Regional Tire, but I had recommeneded the 12R XZE to Mr. Bradley as I'm pretty sure his 04 Intrigue is running 12R's currently.
Prior to my replaceing my Toyo 12R's with Michelin 12R XZE, I called Michelin Tech group and they assured me the XZE was A-OK for Long Haul as well. Sure hope they were not just selling as it was their Tech Group.
