Greetings!
Does anyone know the manufacturer of the original 6 volt batteries that CC installed? The label says "Country Coach", but they sure didn't make them.
They have served me well, and may be good for a while longer, but I want to start looking to replace them.
Thanks!
Jay

I've been buying RV batteries for over 35 years. The best bang for the buck is Sam's club. Brand name batteries at a very reasonable price.
It is not a weel know fact that there are actually only a handful of actual battery manufacturers in the American continent - they make the batteries under whoever wants their name on them. I know of no way to determine who builds which but paying a premium price for a particular name is usually a waste of money.
The exceptions are the special purpose batteries and even then they are usually overpriced.
Sam's has won every time I have researched this.
Trojan gets high marks, they are outstanding batteries at a hugh price. AGM batteries are great performers - check out the files section - there was a cost over lifetime comparison of battery types there. Wet cell and Sam's are my suggestion if you are looking for cost effective basis. If I could justify the price I'd get AGM's.
Bottom line versus your question - only CC wouyld know who made and badged their batteries. Jim Cooley answered a question for me recently. I7fhe knows off the top of his head he might share.
