Had a leaking dash air heater core on a 98 intrique and after a frustrating but successful removal i had a very rewarding experience with a local radiator shop. This guy has been around Tampa for a long time with his nice shop set up in the residential area and he does not list or advertise even in the phone directory. After calling around the country for a couple days and going to all the popular shops, i went to see Sonny at Herbies Radiator. He was sitting around with his nice wife and told me he only occassionally does antique car radiators nowadays. He took this leaking aluminum core and replaced the whole inside core with copper pipes and copper fins. First class job. He said he didn't want any more work, at the time there wasn't another radiator in the shop, but his wife said he would probably do it for someone else if asked. Herbies ph. 813-876-5539 For your info! Also this unit has a noisy LP gas heater when its warming up, sounds like thin metal banging around ! Any ideas? Gary garyphillips@...
