I know this has been bought up many times before, I winter here in Yuma, for now not Florida or east cost. Today we had the Windshield replaced on our 06 Saturn Vue. A Touch of Glass was our choice as we had several Quots. After the work was done at a good price in two hours I ask the Girl and the Owner about do they repair creep seal problems on Motorhomes. They said for between 250/350$ per window they will remove the Window frame put in a board to get you to a campground and within four days have you return for replacement! They remove the old glass from the frame and replace both glass panes and a new seal. They told me this is the only way to correctly repair this. I know many of you have had this window repair done and sometimes a few years later the seal started creeping again. If you are Intersted give them a call 928-343-2227 if interested. They have Yuma's Best Award for 2010 and I am very happy as I feel they did a great Job. I saw lots of custom glass work going on. They also do Mobil Work and Mirrors for you Rig etc. Im not a spokes person for them just sharing my Exp. BTW our Allure has only one bedroom window seal creep in Passenger side only a half inch on fixed pain so far. Ken 99 Allure 30356

Proper cleaning and priming of the area where the seal goes is all that is needed. Depending on the materials and techniques used in making the repair, and depending on a whole variety of conditions after the repaired window is installed, 2 - 5 years is probably typical of the life of the seal before creep and fogging reoccur. You can achieve maximum life by keeping the RV in a mushroom cave.
Good luck.
