I fired up the Hyro Hot heater this weekend and it didn't seem to heat the front end of the coach much. The bedroom area got warm but the front seemed to take forever. Is this correct? I finally turned the setting from gas to electric and the overhead air condidtioer came on and warmed the front of the coach. I don't know if I have a problem or not as this is our first coach.

Thanks, John

I am certainly not an expert on the subject but the same thing happened to me last year. Fortunately I was at a Rally and the service mgr for Foretravel was there. He took the top of the Hydro-Hot off exposing a valve which he tapped on with the handle of the screwdriver. Coming out of that valve was two lines - one going to the BR and the other to the LR. He said that they tend to hang up occasionally. I have not had the problem since. Rod 5206 '07 Allure 470 SN 31463

John,

An easy fix for you.

After sitting a while the hydro Hots valve can stick. Take your cover off of the Hydro Hot and (while the Hydro Hot is on), TAP with something metal, like a wrench, the brass valves.
You will here and FEEL the heat from the valve that broke loose. This is very common after non use.

Hope this helps.
