For someone who has replaced his struts.

Howdoes one remove the old struts to replace with new? Pry the connection off with a screwdriver or does one need to twist it with a pair of channel locks????

Has anyone ffound a source to rebuild them???

there are small metal retaining clips you pry off and then the strut comes off the ball. www.orrorr.com (http://www.orrorr.com) has them

On the ball end where they are bolted on the head has a slot to put a flat blade screwdrive in to pry out the keeper in the head. Once the keep is out about a 1/4 " the head will come of the ball. Make sure someone is holding the door when you do this it will fall hard on your head.
