Linda & Larry,

We've taken HWY 395 a couple of times in Mid-April, from Palm Springs area to Redmond, Oregon.
It's a nice drive scenic drive. Lots of high altitude driving. Early Spring conditions could be bad.
Watch the weather forecast closely.

We are in Lake Havasu City AZ and would like an alternative route home to NW Washington besides I-5. Has anyone taken 395 from "4 corners" near Barstow, up through Reno, all the way up toward Bend, OR. Any other recomendations? Thanks.
