3G Phoebus can be used anywhere with a suitable power supply (AC or car outlet). Here in SaddleBrooke, we dropped our cable internet connection and used the MB6000 for two laptops and one desktop but while traveling we plugged it into the RV/car outlet to power our computer to find RV Parks or motels as we drove. Our Verizon air card inserted into the MB6000 pulls data from each tower just like cell phones. The closer you are to a tower the faster the service but it always is connected. When in port, it served two laptops concurrently effortlessly. Included is a separate antenna and the car-outlet plug-in.
The MB6000 sells for $170 but we offer it for half-price OBO. Shipping charges negotionable.
