Need to make a quick run to Knoxville, TN and am wondering how the Interstates through Arkansas are. I have heard that a lot of work has been done on them. Have always used I30 and 40 up until about 10 years ago when the right lane was very rough because of the expansion joints. Since then have always gone through Arkansas by way of 79 from Minden, LA to Memphis. Probably would not use I30 and 40 this time but have to go to Buddy Gregg in Lewisville first.

Thanks in advance,
Egon

I can't advise re I-40,but I-30 is very good. One shore construction area, except entering the Little Rock area where there is malor construction. I drove from Texarkana to Litler Rock and return yesterday, and the road is much improved. Even in the construction area just south of LR, all four lanes are open.

Good luck.
