Title: Bob Dickman Air Doubler Question

For those of you that have one: I understand what the doubler is, but what is the separate little silver box attached to the pipe coming off of the doubler that the red hose is attached to?

It controls/limits the inbound air pressure. I think it is preset to 160#.
