I had alternator problems on the road from Alamo, TX to Padre Island on Friday. I had my alternator rebuilt at L & M Auto Electric, Inc. in Alice, TX just north of Kingsville. They worked me in on Friday afternoon, rebuilt it, and charged my starting battery to ensure it wasn't too low and cause the alternator to fail again. I wonder if your alternator was rebuilt properly. They replaced the bearing, LN-regulator, and brush set in mine. I was on the road with the alternator charging as it should in time to get to Mustang State Park by dark.
