checked the motorhome this morning and no power in the house batteries started the gen with the boost button and let it run for 5 minutes when i shut it off i had 12 volt power back
any ideas

I'd say you put a surface charge on the batteries from that 5 minutes of charge run time.

Same thing happens to me all the time. Shut down the house with the disconnect switch, and a couple of days later, return to the coach and cannot get the relay to close and bring on 12VDC power. Have to start the engine or plug into shore power to close the house relay. Cannot figure it out.
