Mary, et al,

Go to the AJ Madison website, click on refrigerator then click on French Door, then click on Samsung. All the info is there. And they ship for free. Model 197xxx 17.8 cu ft, 28 1/2 deep for $1005, Model RF217xxx, 20.0 cu ft, 30 1/2 deep, same cost.

Lyle and all:

Just out of curiosity, I assume you are replacing Norcolds. My Dometic NDR 1492 is a full ten inches shorter than the Samsungs. Are the Norcolds taller? Or do you do major cabinet mods? My Dometic is working perfectly, but were something to happen, I ask for future reference.

Rich,

The RF197ACRS calls for a height of 69 3/4 inches tall. That is 1/2 inch too little. I would say 70 1/4 inch high, 32 1/4 wide (minimum) and 24 1/2 inch depth without doors. The Norcold is a 1/2 inch wider than the Samsung and the same depth. If you shut off the top and back vent then you would still have no problem with the heat that this samsung puts out because it just doesn't at 10 to 12 amp draw per hour.
I have about and inch or so space around the inside of the cabinet and a few inches on the top and bottom but the only way it breaths is the one inch on the side and the bottom and it stays within one degree of the inside temp of the coach inside the cabinet. Pretty amazing. It does run for at least 2/3 of and hour each hour but the draw is only 10 to 12 amps per hour on the inverter.

This is a picture of the install of the RF197
