I just checked online pricing on my Nelson 84220A hydraulic filters at B-line Filter and Supply, Odessa TX. They show a cross to Baldwin PT 9344 @ $10.14 each. That is way lower than Franklin Truck Parts @$56.20 for Wix.
I have used Baldwin engine oil and fuel filters before with good results. However, I am amazed at the price difference. Has anyone had experience with B-Line? Daron Hairabedian, 98 Allure, 30226

Sorry for the runaway finger. No experience with B-Line. I used Ryder Fleet Products - three Nelson filters with shipping was $31.11

Jerry,

Thanks for the good advice. I went to Ryder Truck Products online and ordered (min qty) 6 Nelson 84220 A hydraulic filters for total about $48 + $7.95 shpg. That was the cost for one filter at NAPA an Franklin! I also ordered a spare serpentine belt for $28 ($75 at Cummins). They stated delivery may take 4 weeks but, I received delivery within a week.

Thanks

The filters that fit my coach are Nelson-84220A. There are three of them that are stacked on top of each other.

I believe the Fleetguard HF8140 is a replacement for the Nelson filters that seem to be no longer available.

I just bought a box of 6 filters about 3 weeks ago online - they are still available (now made by Cummins although most Cummins dealers don't know it).

I have checked with both Fleetguard who makes the Nelson filter and a Cummings dealer within the last two weeks and they are still available.
