Does anyone know what the term "Fuse Plate" means?
I am trying to track down why we don't have any power to the dash radio. I have replaced the fuse that was blown in the bay where all the house breakers are located, as this is the location for the fuse for the radio, but still no power. I went to the manual and it indicates that there is a "Fuse Plate---Constant Power", but I do not know what this term means, any thoughts would be appreciated.

It is probably hooked into the back of the radio, you should be able to find it by checking under the dash and looking at inputs to the radio. It might be as simple as an in-line fuse or a small block type assembly with a fuse inside it.

That is a new term to me. My radio has an in fuse behind the radio/ dash. Just a thought.

I just had my Panasonic radio out to update with a new one with Bluetooth. They have a fuse in the back of the radio.

I installed it myself. Really easy if you have a crimper. With the new Panasonic all the wires were color coded the same and the hole was the same no cutting involved. The best part is now I can plug in my IPAD and use all its recorded books and music thru the stereo. The unit was around $250. Took 1.5 hours. I am amazed that the little mic I mounted on the dash does not pick up much noise when driving thru town talking on the phone. Haven't tried it on the highway.
I was quoted $100 to have it installed at the local car toys store.

Could you send along the model number as I can't find one for that price that will accommodate the camera system, thanks, Roger
