Seems our new/used CC Intrique is starting to be a nightmare from hell! After buying this 36' 1996 Intrique from a So. CA. RV Dealer, we drove it home and my wife noticed that it "Dog Tracked" to the right real bad, We wouldn't had noticed had she not been back there.
After talking to the dealer, the answer we got was "It would have been the previous owners responsibility!" We quickly stated that since we purchased the RV from you (The Dealer), that YOU (Again, the Dealer) were then responsible? After a bit of silence on the phone, they agreed to fix the problem. Dog Tracking is when the front and rear end of the vehicle is not aligned. A specialty shop looked at the problem and said there is something else wrong with it! Now they are looking at other possibilities?? Anybody else have a similar problem??

Also, had DMV run the VIN number for possible accidents and/or salvage. Nothing came up but will continue researching. During this research, we did come up with a bit of info which baffles us! It seems the 1996 Intrigue is actually a 1995 coach according to DMV records. Anybody run into this as well??

Thanks

I owned a '99 Intrigue with the same problem. CC said alignment problems are not covered by waranty. I took it to an alignment shop in Alb. and had the the rear end adjusted. The shop said they used all the adjustment. I found out later that this problem appeared when they introduced slides. It seems the frame flexed and settled after delivery and caused the problem. After the adjustment and after the ride height valves were rearanged the coach drove great. jerry in NM, '00 Magna.

I'm willing to bet that you will find that the problem is fairly simple and fixable "IF" you get in touch with a good repair/chassis shop. I suspect that one of the valve actuators has flipped over, but I strongly suggest you contact this guy:

Tom McNatt

M&M Coach Specialists
5787 Mc Cully Street
Chino, CA 91710

909 627-6000

They do warranty work for CC and are highly respected by the factory.
They have done a wide variety of work for me, including tweaking my air bags, where they set the -- we drove it -- they reset them -- we drove it, until we liked it.

Incidentally, there is good Cummins shop in Bloomington, near Tim for engine related issues, although Tim does do oil, filter, lube, etc.. The Cummins number is 909 877-0433, Randy was the foreman there who helped me solve a blow-by problem that two other Cummins shops could not cure. Tim does not do engine work.

Thanks for the replies:

A Specialty Shop looked further and stated that besides a bad bushing in the rear, the right suspension arm is mis-aligned. They need to re- position the arm and that should correct the problem. Just a note: When Freightliner drove our RV to another shop, even the driver stated it "Dog Tracked" so bad, he got nervous driving our RV.
