Title: Windshield curtains

Can the curtains be dry cleaned? As an alternative, has anybody found replacement curtains they would recommend from a price and quality stand point?

Yes, the curtains can be dry cleaned. We have washed ours and with a little ironing and refolding the pleats, they come out fine.

We replaced our curtains about 3 yrs ago.

We used Millie's Draperies in Junction City. 541 689 0066
Millie was the original maker of the curtains in the area of your Motor Home.

Give her a call.

Don, did you wash or dry clean your curtains? if you washed them can you give me info as to soap, water temp., etc.

Richard,

The wife washed them on gentle cycle with regular laundry soap. She then took them out of the washer and refolded them and tied them up with rubber bands and let them dry. Before they got hung up, they got a touch up with the steam iron.
New drapes can be made by anyone. We went to Millie but she wanted an arm and a leg. My wife is a quilter, knows sewing and what is involved to make lined drapes, if fact she made some for our house once. She decided to try washing and see what would happen so that's what we did.

Thanks for the information. Hoping my curtains make it through the wash but if not we will have a friend make replacements.
