This morning at 3:30 I was awakened by the continuous flushing of the toilet.I tried to shut it off, but it would not respond to buttons .I could not identify a fuse in the fuse boxes, and finally located one inline behind the toilet. Had to dump black tank as it read full on panel. Read owners manual and learned zip about problem. Called 800 # for Thetford today and they gave me names and phone #s of repair facilities in OR & WA as we are in Seaside OR at present. Will try to operate toilet manually until late next week when we get near Seattle. This was a very inconvenient and frustrating experience because of wter leaking on floor and not knowing how to shut off elrctric switching for flush mechanism.
Would appreciate any suggestions from anyone who has had a problem and learned any helpful hints about the Aria toilet.my55tbird2 2002 Allure 30792.Also any recommendations on repair shop in WA.

That is a good thing you were there otherwise you would have quite a mess. I have the old type in my 2002 Intrigue but I was looking to install one of the new electric johns in my coach, but after hearing about this I may caange my mind. How ever after hearing that the darn thing can start up on its own, I would put an electric in line switch in before the john motor so you can shut off the power to the jon when you leave.
