Has anyone come up with a device to direct the OTR A/C away from our knees?

I wish I could get my dash air to blow cold enough to freeze my knees! A $200.00 recharge usually lasts for about 750 miles of driving and after that, it's back to warm air coming out.

I'm in the same boat as you Dave. Acts like a very, very slow leak of refrigerant. Two shops have tried to find the problem and fix, to no avail. Given all those expenses I chose Plan B . . . run the genset and the front roof AC. $200 will still buy enough diesel for 200 hours of low to medium genset demand time. That's a couple of summer's the way I use AC.

My REAL answer: I disconnected the duct under the dash from the outlet. Now the air is directed to the floor or any other direction that best uses the cooling.

Same here, I spent over $900 having mine fixed so that it would blow cold air, troubleshooting, replacing leaking hose and charging system, that fix lasted about two years and back to no cold air again. I get much better cooling just running the generator and using the overhead AC. My cooling was never adequate from the time the coach was new and could never get CC or the dealer to fix the problem. They always said that it was normal operation.

It freezes my knees in long pants...That is not a bad idea, I will take a look at the duct hose.

I think you never really got all the leaks. Once I did, it has lasted two years so far. My OTR cools better when driving than the roof airs, but I have a Magna. Probably different setup to some extent.
