I just did something very stupid. The TV in our 2005 Inspire is above the dash way up near the ceiling.. The TV would always rattle when traveling. Therefore I thought I would simply take the TV out and solve the rattle problem. You know what is coming, it came out of the cabinet full speed and seem to weigh 100's of pounds. I tried to stop it but all I did was to injure my neck and back. Enough story, has anyone replaced there TV in a 2005 Inspire, and if so what did you purchase ? If you purchased some kind of a flat TV how did you mount to keep it stable ?

Stan,

If you receive info regarding TV replacement I would like to know what was used. I think mine is going on the blink as there are lines on the left quarter of the screen.

Thanks,

There is a photo in the photos section which shows how someone replaced the TV in a 2004 Inspire, that photo might help you.

Davis Cabinets did a remodel of our front overhead cabinetry to accommodate a 42" flat screen. We also changed the SS amp and players and have a beautiful up-to-date AV system. It looks fantastic and not at all like a remodel or retrofit.
