I have an 1997 Intrigue #10313. I've bought a new tow car (Cadillac SRX) and braking system for the car. My previous tow car and braking system did not have any dash indicator light when the car was braking. The new system has the indicator light and needs a wire running from the back to the dash area to carry the braking signal. Does any know if CC ran any extra wires for this purpose? Will it show up in the wiring diagrams? The coach is in the paint shop for a while so I won't be able to nose around till it comes back.

On our 97' Magna there are extra wires. Best bet to find them is to find the big wiring loom at the back. Open it and should find several wires with numbers that are not used. Use manual to find where the go up front. Pick best wire and go for it. Should find unused wires under the dash to match number in back.

Another option would be to pick up the brake light wire from the plug for towing; most are wired the same or you can use a test light to check for the wire that lights when the brake is pushed. I'm not sure if you need a separate wire or just one that indicates when the brake is pushed. This wire, however will indicate when the coach brakes are pushed and may not serve your purpose.

Question: Where did you access this wiring loom in the back that you speak of?

On ours it was to the right rear of the engine. A big black heavy duty wrap on the wires bundle.
