Our toilet won't hold the water in the bowl. It fills up fine for flushing purposes but then will be bone dry. I replaced the toilet about a year ago. Do I need another one?

Rebuild kits are available to provide new seals, but you may just need to clean and lube the seals you have. If you do not have a manual for your commode, Google it and find one on line. Cleaning is easy, even replacing the seal and mechanism is not hard, and not even a mess - I would recommend you draw a pencil mark on the tile under the commode, so it can be replaced exactly as it came out. Much easier to find the hold down screw holes that way.
Been there, done that, no sweat.

What model toilet do you have? If its like the original (SeaLand Traveler), there's no way you should need a new toilet.
SeaLand seals can be cleaned and lubricated or easily replaced (for about $30). Just google "Sealand traveler seals" and you should find owner's manuals, detailed cleaning and replacement instructions and replacement parts (if needed).

Friend, Just resealed mine last year, Go to a RV Supply store with your Model Tiolet and they will sell you a kit for under 50$ Seperate the china bowel and hand carry your old seals two of them, Make sure like me you get the non hole vent seals. Also remember the hose clamp is twards the front of the coach and the fatter seal in the proper place, see Inst.. Instructions come with the kit an easy fix. Mine worked with out changing the plastic Ball. Assuming you have a Sealand like ours. Ken 99 Allure 30356

If it is only a year old it may still be under warranty.
Contact the manufacturer with model number and serial number, describe your problem and they may send you parts to fix it.
