Seems that each time I park my coach, turn off the engine, my battery status indicator shows red, I have new batteries.... Everything starts ok, I started the generator and it remained red, so started the engine and in about five min it changed to green....
Is this normal, does it mean the batteries just aren't being charged anymore? Just had the coach in for full maintenance, Thank u,

This is my first trip in my coach, left Newport beach and am slowly making my way to Oregon for the cc rally in Harrisburg, or I love driving this coach, and love living in it Jan

Mine always drops to red when hooking up to a power source whether at a campground or stating the generator. The LEDs will over a few minutes slowly move to yellow then back to green (assuming it was in the green when you shut down the engine and hooked up or started the genset). This is normal as the charging system is analyzing the house batteries for state of charge and doing what it was it programmed to do.

Check the manual for the Freedom Electronic Management System, it's in there.

You're just not waiting long enough for the system to finish it's analysis and or charge of the batteries.
