Hi Stan,

We second Lee's suggestion. Above is link. SECCers had a rally there last December.

A great place to stay is the James Island County Park just outside of Charleston, but it's very popular so you need to plan ahead.

Stan,

We have spent the last eight fall seasons in Charleston. Lee is close but it is 'The Campground at James Island Park'. it is a beautiful 125 site campground on James Island, a suburb of Charleston and the park where we stayed all eight years All sites are full 50 amp hookups and there are 12 pull throughs if I remember correctly. No problem because most back-ins are more than adequate for a 45 footer. It is actually one of the best campgrounds that we have seen all over the country. It is however a bit difficult to get to so if you would like to go there email me offline and I will help you out as well as with the many attractions in what my wife and I consider to be the most beautiful historic city in the country. We know Charleston very well.
