Good day to all,

Sorry to bother everyone with this request, but I am traveling to Memphis and looking for a nice, safe, and secure RV campground/resort in or very close to Memphis. If you have any suggestions, please reply directly to me rather than to "all". I appreciate your assistance!

Steve

We stayed at a place that I think was called "The BeanPot" about 30-40 miles east of Memphis. Everything worked out great and there are some beautiful waterfall about 40 miles from there.

Steve,

We stayed @ EZ Day RV Park, Southhaven, MS which is just south of Memphis. We thought the park was quite nice. It is only 10 to 12 miles south with good access to Memphis. You might want to take a look at this park.

Steve,

I've spent about half of the last 18 months in Memphis - off and on. I'm on my way back there this weekend. I would not class any of the facilities in the area as a resort.
The best value is in Tunica Resorts, about 30 miles southwest of Memphis at the Hollywood Casino or Sams Town Casino RV Parks. The one at Hollywood is still closed from the flooding. I don't know about Sams Town. Depending on when you are arriving, they may be open again. There is a slightly better. but more expensive park close to Harrahs. I don't know if it was flooded or not.
Of the 7 or so RV Parks, or campgrounds, closer to town, I have seen most of them, and I can only recommend only 3. EZ Daze is where I am heading. Jellystone is very close to EZ Daze. The third is at the Agricenter.

All are paved with concrete pads, except Agricenter.
So depending on how long you are staying, and what amenities you prefer, these are the options that I know about.

Steve,

On our last trip to Memphis, my wife and I stayed at Graceland RV Park which is right across the street from Graceland. We spent several weeks there and would do it again. I was working on a project near the airport and this was the most convenient place for us. Office staff was very friendly and the park was well maintained.
