Hello all,
I'm curious what others may be experiencing regarding overheating on 7.5 KW Onans.
I just serviced mine (oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter and spark arrestor clean out procedure) and got a shut down for overheating after running 30-45 minutes with both a/cs on, the ref was on auto/ac and outside temp about 90. I started it right back up shut off the rear a/c and the gen continued to run for another hour+ w/o problem. I did not flush out the cooling system but the water/antifreeze in the tank appears to be perfectly clear/green. No discoloration or residue whatsoever to indicate problems there. The generator has a little over 1600 hours on it to date.
Any experience out there to suggest if this is normal or if I may have a problem? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Tom

wondering if anyone has had the belt replaced without having to drop the generator in an '04 Allure. We got an estimate of $1500 to fullly service the generator and change the belt because we were told they can't change the belt without dropping the generator. Ouch!! Lonny & Diane

They did not drop my generator on my 2006 Allure when my fan belt broke at 1000 hours. I don't know if yours is different.
