Anyone have a secret for removing the ignition switch on a 97 Allure. I thought it would just unscrew from the bezel, but that does not seem to work.
The story is this, Today I wanted to level the coach after sitting for a couple of weeks. I put the key in an turned it, nothing happened. Thought I had the problem solved as the contactor under the dash was not closing and could not get any power to the instruments. Bought a new contactor still would not work. Put a new ground wire to the contactor and when I turned the switch to ACC all the gages came alive and the engine started. I also beleive the starter relay stayed engaged...
So now I looking at the key switch as the culprit. If anyone has a better idea maybe you could forward them to me.

Thanks,
