We have a 00 Magna 36' with the 385 Cat. We are going to start out towing our 09 GMC extended cab pickup weight around 5200 lbs.
Considering the Ready Brute system with the supplemental surge braking. Would appreciate other ideas.
Also, we are wondering if we should consider going to a smaller/lighter toad? I have been told that the weight of the toad makes little difference in fuel mileage on the coach. Your thoughts?

I have a 36 ft Inspire with Cat 400 and tow a Chevy Avalanche without any issues and like the ease of the M&G braking system. Weight is more related to braking and with the M&G system that isn't an issue. I hope you either have the Z71 or have some type of driveshaft disconnect.
