We are running out of time to tow our 09 GMC Sierra PU to FMCA rally. Need a recommendation on a wiring harness and tow bar. Looking at the Ready Brute tow bar and a friends Brake Buddy.
Want a non-invasive harness that we do not have to drill holes in our back tail lights. Wiring harness is the biggest problem.

Help needed for my husband.

Is the Sierra a 4x4? If so it should be able to be towed "4 down" We have an '08 Chevy Colorado 4x4.
We use a Roadmaster tow bar (5200 I think was the model). Brackets were put on the truck by Camping World.
We bought magnetic tow lights (Harbor Freight) and he made a mounting bracket for the hitch on the pickup. We run the wires from the tow lights on the rear of the pickup up and out thru the hood and along the tow bar and hook them into the light lookup receiver on the back of the motorhome. Easiest, cheapest, least invasive way to hook up lights. Works for us. We are looking at Brake Buddy but haven't bought it yet. Next on our list.

Yes, we have a 4x4. Not sure how you plug in the lights??
We were hoping for a system that would use our existing lighting system.
