I noticed I wasn't getting any hot water from my hydro hot with the electric on - - only the diesel. I then noticed that the Smart EMS display did not have lights on for the first three loads (water heater, washer/dryer, rear a/c comp). I assume I may need a new EMS main board. Any thoughts? Where can I purchase a new board if, in fact, I need one?

John, have you checked your breakers in the hall?

Yes. All breakers are ok. I double checked by turning them off and back on again.

I called Intellitec and spoke to tech support. They said their tech was no longer with the company and gave me the name of a distributor. Two problems. I'm not sure which model I have. There appears to be three that are for 50 amp use. Also, when I called the distributor I had to have a code number to go beyond the auto attendant. Another dead end.

I burned a relay in my Smart ems board. I had to replace the board. It took several weeks to get so I by passed the function of the board by temporarily wiring the circuit breakers directly to the output wires. Any competent house electrician can do this, you don't need an rv guy.. All this does is bypass load shedding. My board was loacated in the top inside of the electrical panel with the breakers.
Sorry, I am in Alaska at the moment and do not have any paperwork or parts numbers. I remember I called there distributor and ordered it over the phone or via email.

Friend I dont have the Intellic system on our 99 Allure but in My mind sounds like a good system on load sharing but for my 2 Cents was never a fan of Carrying A/C Currant on a Printed Circuit Board with mounted relays. Having my Freedom Inverter repaird a few weeks ago I noticed they pass A/C Currant via a Relays mounted on a P.C. Board I told the repair tech this is cheap and Dangerous!. I my other life I have seen PC Boards burn up and the solder melt! To me this Practice is a cheap way of doing things! I for one worry about a fire. Again My 2 cents. If I had this system I would Inspect now and them like The Transfer Sw. I do My own generator Inspection's by removong all the covers on the Generator end Yearly and most A/C Carrying systems! Have the time but understand some of you pay to have this done. I enjoy reading your posts! Ken 99 Allure 30356
