Have used it, now I use RV Paint Pros in Pomona (3 miles from Paint Department). Check out their web page, they painted my coach and do Prevost's, Magna's etc. Great work. Ask for Frank.

I have a neighbor who had some work done there on his Monaco. They were to reinforce his windshield frame & install new windshield. They said would guarantee the work & if windshield cracked they would replace up to 2- windshields, if their work failed. Neighbor is now in Oregon with a cracked windshield and Paint dept. refused to do anything. He had it repaired in Oregon at a cost of some 6,000.00 and is going to take action against the Paint Dept. FYI

Big Foote,

Did they not have Comprehensive Insurance (called Other Than Collision in some states) ? Comp is one of the least expensive items on most insurance policies and is usually considered no fault when you use it. thus there is no surcharge or hicky on your insurance policy. The deductible is usually low also, in the $50 to $250 range. Let the insurance company worry about the cost. If you have a lien on your coach, you have comp on your policy.

RV Paint pros is located where I store my coach. They are right now redoing three coaches and a hummer from the Paint Department. They should have gone to RV Paint Pros to begin with.

I don't know if my neighbor has comp. if he does I doubt it covers Monacos manufacture defects. His coach was an '05 and Monaco went BK and he has no warranty. The subject was re:The Paint Dept. I am only reporting what he told me today when he called from Oregon.

Why did the Paint Department refuse to cover it? You have not explained it. For $6k there I assume there must have been some major structural problems with the coach. Who repaired it in Oregon?
