I did the unthinkable today and cracked the windshield on my coach. The break started from a small stone bruise which I was not aware of and when I went to wash the coach this morning she split from top to bottom.
I shutter to think what that might cost to replace and wonder if anyone has had that "pleasure"??

Thanks

I have mine replaced twice. First on a CC the second on my insurance which covers windshield breakage. I think around 1500.

We had some fogging-glass repaired at Coach Glass in Eugene last year and I asked the tech about windshield replacements out of curiosity. His reply was that your first priority should be to find a competent business to do the replacement, i.e., somebody who has done these large pieces of RV glass before and knows how to do it right. There is no "good", "better" or "best" glass reflecting the differences in prices you will get. All glass manufacturers must meet the DOT regulations for glass construction. So a higher price is "what the market will bear" from that vendor and does not mean you are getting a better piece of glass.

I replaced mine three years ago at Coach Glass in Eugene. At that time it was about $2200.

Just finished replacing ours. Insurance covered minus our deductible, $3400! Coach Glass did the replacement in Elkhart, IN.
