Does anyone know of a Coach Armor shield in good condition that is made to fit a 2000 CC Affinity? I presume one for a 2000 Magna would interchange OK.
I believe I read about one being available on this site a while back, but I haven't located it and don't know if it is still floating around.
My shield held up well when another RV rolled downhill into me, but the metal edge pieces were bent and the shield sustained scratches so the insurance co is trying to locate a replacement. Since Coach Shield is out of business, has anyone had experience with Summit Co's Body Block?
Prompt answers will be appreciated since this may be the most difficult part of my repair process.
Thanks to all in our group who have helped me in the past. You have been great!
We are currently at Diversified Truck & RV repair in Denver, who seems to have an excellent reputation for good service and quality repair. Hope to confirm this when everything is completed. For now I can only say that my relatively little damage, compared to the other RV spoke wonders for the strength build in our CC!

Kent,

Sorry, you were looking for experiences with Body Block, and I just gave you the info you probably already knew. But.....I did mean to add that I had a friend that had the body block armor on his Beaver Marquis, and it looked great. He has never had a problem with it, and he bought it to replace the original armor on the coach after he was involved in an accident. I have seen it, and it looks as good as the coach armor on my affinity. If insurance is paying, why not get some new armor from a manufacturer that is still in business? Luck,
Bob

Thanks Bob and others for your suggestions on replacing Coach Armor on my 2000 Affinity. The RV repair shop in Denver had been considering a local shop to duplicate my Coach Armor shield, however I sensed some reluctance. Now, with my blessings (and advice from the group,) the shop has ordered the new Body Blocker shield from Summit. Thanks to all, the reports sound good and I hope to be able to report same following installation and some actual use. Thanks also for the quick response! I'm trying not to delay, in any way, our repairs in hopes to get back on the road sooner rather than later. Today the driveshaft was hooked up and the coach was pulled into the shop to begin actual repairs.
