I have an 05 inspire 51473 and had heat coming out of the ducts competing with the air conditioning. There is an elecric control valve behind the front cap. I didnt confirm what was going on and will be paying more attention on tomorrows trip. My question is have any of you had to replace the valve or is it more likely a control issue. I am trying to learn how the system works. If i get heat on theis next trip a will lay under and theck the valve for flow.
Thanks

Rod

Hello Rod,

Early on, I had the "H Valve" replaced twice under CC warranty. Although I don't remember exactly, the valve is located roughly in front of the passenger seat, in the genset compartment.
I could bypass the problem by rotating the temperature knob from stop to stop, selecting full cold before energizing the ignition switch. However, once selecting heat, the valve would not close fully afterwards.
I did not watch the valve swap but was told it was a simple procedure. Because CC had to replace it twice, it was likely a bad batch since there have been no further malfunctions.

Rod,

I had symptoms similar to yours. See note #61480.
