Hi All,

On my recent trip back home from Lake Tahoe my coach started leaning seriously to the right. My air bags are all working and the coach will level properly when parked. Just going down the road we lean to the right. Any ideas or areas to look for?
Secondly on the same trip, (Cummins 400) me engine felt very sluggish. My Silverleaf revealed a fault code for Injector #1. Does anyone know what that entails? Is the injector bad?

Thanks once again for all responses and the assistance.

David

Hi David,

We had the similar problem in January. In our case the tag axle air spring had sprung a leak on the inside.
Going down the road we were fine, but it depended on how far the spring was extended on whether or not we would not leak, leak very slowly or rapidly deflate. You seem to have the opposite problem but it might be that the hole is exactly where you ride height would be.
Does the level drop once you are parked? Do you have access to a service pit? Can you duplicate the problem be raising or lowing the right side while parked?

Marta,

Thank you for the response. We did not move at all for 24 hours and there was no loss of air in any of the bags.

Thanks for the information.

Sounds like a ride height valve to me. Has a similar situation where the coach would level when parked, but would tilt going down the road.

Thank you. I will try to find a repair shop locally that can check my ride height valves. Thanks again for the response.

Hi

Either your right rear ride height valve is become disconnected or failed and letting the right side drop. OR the left rear has failed or become loose and letting the left side too high.
As far the #1 injector code. It could be a failed injector, a bad connection to that injector or one or two other things. Probably time for a trip to Cummins.
