We're leaving So. Cal tomorrow, heading to Oregon and am interested in recommendations for facilitfies that can repair "foggy" duel glazed windows on our 2006 Allure. Has anybody used RV Glass Solutions in Eugene? I've seen their ad in FMCA magazine; but would like to hear any feedback. We are flexible as to location, so Eugene, Junction City, etc would work; but would like to use somebody good.

While at OMC having the fan controller replaced, I called Doug Rutherford and he sent over one of his contractors that use to be a team leader at CC. He pulled the frame repaired the separated drivers side windows and reinstalled the frame the next day. Bob at OMC, let me pay RV Glass solutions directly, thus incurring no mark-up as he also did for the repairs at Cummins. I also explained to the tech that I had a water seeping issue inside the two front windows, one of which he had replaced two years previously. We'll he re-sealed the front marker lights, checked and resealed the front windows weather striping and checked all my other windows. He found some loose weep hole covers and resealed them. All at no charge. And, guess what no more leaks. As I was there for the CC friendship rally I got 15% off on the repairs and didn't have to pay tax. That's 24% off! Such a deal. Doug and some of his crew came to the rally and did a lot of work for other attendees. We all had a great time.

We used Dave Root's RV Glass Repair in Bend a year ago and everything is as good as it was when completed. He is reasonable and does top notch work.
He has a website that you can schedule your appointment on or ask questions on. It is a very informative site.

FYI
The place in Hudson Florida did 4 of mine for around $250 each this spring. All still good after 15,000 miles and taking a beating in Alaska. They guarantee their work for 5 years. You stay overnight free at their factory with electricity and water.
They claim they use a better seal material and put a slightly positive pressure in . If the gasket moves it moves out to the frame and stops instead of in and causing the leak.

When we decided on RV Fog Doctor, it was made for several reasons. Good reviews (no bad ones) and location. Actually location became a big factor. We had windows repaired by Peninsula Glass (Motion Windows) in Vancouver WA in 2005. Minimal investigation but we were close. Had 3 panes repaired. in less than a year one of the windows showed degradation, we were in TX and didn't contact them. By year 2 that window was "awful" and we called. They said their warranty was 1 year but they would give us consideration if we would come to their facility, we were in Gulf Shores AL. By year 6 all windows repaired we bad. When the were taken apart by RV Fog D, the bonding showed separation. We have 11 windows in the coach (SeGi windows) and one other window had "snaking", so the 8 other SeGi windows are pretty much OK. Searcy AR is close to where we travel so if there is a problem we can get to their facility without purchasing an oil company.
One note, a friend had a window repaired at Peninsula Glass the same time as us and they've not had a problem. Also found a fellow we met in Branson that just had all new windows installed from Motion Windows, will be interesting to see how they last, guess time will tell.

I also used Dave Root to fix my fogged windows, about a year ago. Everything is still good.
