When having the alignment checked and set at Colton truck last week, the tech also reset the rear ride height, it was almost 4" too low.
I had the coach four corner weight checked with the old ride height. Am I correct that setting the rear up by 4" higher, shift some of the weight from the rear to the front?
I run the fronts at 100 PSI, the actual measured weight and PSI setting per the 12R's Michelin chart is 90 PSI. I was pretty close to the weight jump to the 95 PSI range, so bumped it to that range. And, then I add an extra 5 PSI for road/wind variables, adding more wight to one side or the other.
I will not have time to go measure weights before our next quick trip on Thursday. So, was looking for opinions on if I'm correct that the rear ride height setting up 4" more would have shifted more weight to the front - any thoughts on 'How much shifted?'.
This is the two slide 2004 40' Allure High Cascade model, if anyone has four corner weights for this era coach, it would be interesting to compare. (Sure, we all pack and travel different, so not an exact method - but might give me and idea of what other like coaches are seeing on the fronts weight.
Thinking until I get in for another weight check, of bumping this up to 105 PSI on the fronts, which is were the rears and tag are set.
Best to all,

Smitty, Not doubting your word or what Colton told you about your rear ride height change but if it was raised 4" that would be close to the total travel of the air bag.
Concerning tire inflation, do we read you 3rd para. last sentence that you put more air in one side than the other? If so, you should pressure each side the same, which ever side was heavier before ride height is likely still the heaviest, inflate both sides from that pressure setting.

Thanks Mike for double checking with me on what I had intended to say.
I do run L/R at the same PSI per axle. F=100, R Duals=105, T=105. As we are heading out Thursday for a short 1K hop, I set the fronts up to 110PSI for this trip.
On the ride height, I checked the paper work from Colton, he had it listed at 3 1/4", I must have miss heard him when I talked about the height change. (It was a side bar, as we were talking about the full alignment findings, with just a slight adjustment needed to fronts.)
I'll need to run up to Corona, CA sometime in the months ahead, as it is the closest place to San Diego with Cat scales. (DMV closed the local San Diego weigh area for cost savings.) I had weighed my coach last time at Mayflower moving, they were very nice, but have often wondered how accurate the measurements were.
Best,
Smitty
