In my '02 Intrigue, I have a relay or selenoid mounted on the backside of the last bay passenger side which contains my fuel filters and battery shutoff switches. When viewed from the open engine hatch, its mounted on the right and is quite accessible. Any idea what this is for. Also, very close to a passing electrical harness is an unused triangular weather proof female connector??

I am pretty sure that you are referring to the Start Solenoid. Mine has the same thing.

Ed-

This would just defenitely be the start solenoid as mentioned. The triangular looking plug is the terminating resistor for the J1939 communication between the engine and transmission. This is the primary culprit if one has erradic shifting and engine brake operation. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
