Just drove my 2002 Affinity on Tuesday and everything was fine. Tried to turn it over today and when I put the key in and turned it, NOTHING!! None of the dash gages turned on either. The batteries are new and fully charged. When I went over to the front compartment by the drivers side I could hear a clicking noise when the key was in the on position. Any help would be appreciated. Also I do not have the electrical schematic SO729. Does anyone have one that they could forward to me. All battery terminals are new and tight.

Could be the ignition solenoid fuse. It is a 30 amp fuse llocated inn the area behind the passenger side rear bumper. Mine was in a rubber waterproof thing. FiLled with water.

Thanks for the suggestions, Rich, I'll see if I can find that. Anyone have the electrical schematic SO729?

I had the EXACT same symptoms. The solenoid would click but it wasn't making good contact on the inside. $1,200 tow for something I should have figured out myself.
