While I was away from the coach this morning, got a call from the wife that all receptacles were down and that GFCI wouldn't reset. When I got back I got the story that she had plugged in a high wattage hair dryer while also running a coffee maker and with a few other items operating as well -- LCD TV, Satellite box, etc. Sure enough the GFCI won't reset. On my breaker panel, there is no breaker indicating receptacles. I tried resetting each breaker and then the mains and the GFCI still wouldn't reset. Went through the owners manuals and they weren't real helpful. I did see one reference in the 120V wire list that the wire for the convenience outlets comes from the "Step down load center" and not from the "120v distribution panel" as they do for the other 120v appliances.
What and where is the "step down load center" and is that where I should be looking and what would I do?

Gary, try resetting the two reset buttons on your converter. They may have tripped.

Gary

That happened to us and it turned out to be the circuit breaker on the inverter.

Check the breakers on the inverter

U P D A T E

Yep, opened up the box that the inverter/charger is in and one of the two breaker switches there was tripped. Flipped it back to on and the receptacles were back in business.

Many thanks to those who came to my rescue!!!!!
Now, I just wonder why CC didn't put the receptacles on a breaker with the rest of the stuff in the 120V breaker box.
And now I guess I know that "step down load center" in the owners manual means inverter/charger.
And I hadn't any occasion to see my inverter before today in the 1 and a half years I have owned her. Guess it was about time

THANKS AGAIN!
