Can anyone tell me with surety the weight of a 2000 Intrigue 36 foot - no slides?

Thanks,

Joe

Do you mean dry, with no fuel etc, or do you mean, wet, full of fuel, water, and propane? There is a sheet containing all the info you require attached to the inside of the cabinet doors over your bathroom sink?

Even with the information in the cabinet over the bathroom sink Joe, no one can tell you your weight with surety. Each coach is different according to how it is loaded going down the road. If you could get to a truck weigh station they could weigh the coach accurately for you. Barrie Boas 94 Concept 5111

Joe does not own the coach (yet). He says that there seem to be some confusion about the dry weight. While weighing it would be best, can we help him with some estimates ranges on a 36 ft, no slide, 2000 Intrigue.

The weights should be listed on the sheet with all the serial numbers of components that is installed in the coach.

The sheet in my coach is inside the medicine cabinet.

We have a 98 Intrigue Tiara, 36', no slides. UVR was 23,650 lb, GVWR is 30,000 lb (another place in the book shows 32K but sticker is 30K). We've weighted the coach several times and the operating weight with both of us and our wiener dog is around 28.0K to 28.5K. UVR is the unloaded vehicle weight, full compliment of motor fluids and everything else "unloaded". That's why we like the coach, have over 6K of carrying capacity. We weighted the coach when we bought it and the UVR was close to the sticker UVR.

Thanks everyone!

Herb is correct in that I haven't bought it yet. I'm trying to get a close estimate for picking the correct Michelin tires, the cost of which will be taken into consideration while figuring what I should pay for the coach. If I do buy it, of course I will weigh it at each wheel and pressurize the tires according to Michelin's chart. My tire dealer does that when he installs tires on heavy vehicles.
The NADA book states 22000 pounds, but that doesn't sound right to me. Maybe that's the base body and drivetrain weight minus the equipment. I can figure the added weight for fuel, water, and personal items, but need to start with somewhat of a correct coach weight before I purchase it.

As i remember from an Old FMCA road test the coach may Have 10R, but more likely 275R70 22.5. They gave those of us with slides a lot of troubles with being over loaded on the left front tire. But with no slides you should be OK.

Joe,

Be sure to utilize the FMCA Michelin Advantage Program to save a lot on Michelin tires. See note #74258 for details.
